Miniature Full Leather Binding Workshop - 29th November
Full Leather Case-Binding With Blind Tooling
Time: 10am - 3pm
Cost: $350 Full Fee
In this workshop, you will learn to make a full leather covered miniature book under 3”.
This class will reinforcing core case-binding skills, so you will need to have completed at leat Case 1.01 and 1.02 to attend. No leather paring is taught in this class, as our focus is on finishing the book as a whole.
When our books are covered, we will finish them with some gold foil tooling on the spine to add a sparkly, decorative touch. Tooling on a case-binding is very specific skill, different to real gold tooling, so worth learning.
It doesn’t matter whether you begin with the Flat (1.01) or Rounded (1.02) Case-binding technique; start with whichever suits you best. However, completion of both classes is required before moving on to leather case-binding.

Important Information
This is a highly technical workshop that requires prior case-binding experience. Ideally, participants will have attended the flat-back 1.01 and round back case binding 1.02 and Beginner Leather binding 1.03 classes prior.
