Experience the art of bookbinding in this live, online workshop where you'll create a classic hardback journal using flat or rounded-back case-binding techniques. These versatile handmade journals are perfect for writing, sketching, or artistic endeavours; there is nothing like a sketchboojk that you ahve made yourself!
What You'll Learn:
Multiple-section sewing techniques
Rounding the spines
Creating a durable hardcover
Covering your book in book cloth
Casing your book
By the end of the class, you'll have your own hand-bound journal and the skills to continue crafting beautiful books at home with minimal equipment.
Who Can Join:
This workshop is designed for beginners with basic crafting skills such as cutting, folding, and measuring. Verbal and visual instructions will be provided live during the online session, so you need to be able to follow verbal and visual instructions over a digital device.

All materials and tools will be shipped to you ahead of the class. Please ensure you provide the correct postal address when registering.
