Ready to turn loose pages into something amazing?
Join us for a full day of hands-on bookmaking designed especially for curious young makers with a bit of experience under their belts. Whether your child is a returning participant or trying something new, every session offers fresh projects and creative challenges!
This time, we’ll dive into the world of multiple-section sewing; making hardcover books. We’ll be working with a stunning selection of new papers to spark fresh ideas and keep the inspiration flowing. The day is all about building skills with notebooks, sketchbooks, and journals; perfect for recording thoughts and drawings.
All materials and tools are provided, including vibrant papers and sturdy card stock. Everyone will head home with a collection of beautiful, hand-crafted books; and the skills and confidence to keep binding!
It’s easy to get started, endlessly creative, and totally addictive—let’s get binding!
Key Details:
Suitable for those who have taken our beginner class with an enthusiasm for making.
The workshop requires the use of sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.
All materials, tools, water, juice, and snacks.
Important Notes:
Taught by professional educators and Early Years teachers with valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
A fully compliant, safe, and supportive environment.
Hands-on technical learning in a creative and fun setting.
This workshop is technical in nature; sharp instruments will be used.
Includes outdoor lunch at a nearby park—please bring a hat, a nut-free packed lunch, snacks, ruit, and a drink bottle.
Drop off from 9am - pick up strictly by 3.30pm.
