You’ll master essential techniques like 3-hole and 5-hole pamphlet binding, Japanese stab binding, and more. Explore vibrant papers and sturdy card stock to design personalised covers that reflect your style.

By the end of the session, you’ll take home a stunning collection of handmade books—and plenty of inspiration to keep creating. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!

Key Details:

  • Suitable for complete beginners with an enthusiasm for making.

  • No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires the use of sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.

  • All materials, tools, water, juice, and snacks.

Important Notes:

  • Taught by professional educators and Early Years teachers with valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).

  • A fully compliant, safe, and supportive environment.

  • Hands-on technical learning in a creative and fun setting.

  • This workshop is technical in nature; sharp instruments will be used.

  • Includes outdoor lunch at a nearby park—please bring a hat, a nut-free packed lunch, and a drink bottle.

  • Drop off from 9 AM – pick up strictly by 4 PM.

  • Later pick up time by 5pm can be accommodated for $20.
